Whilst we make every endeavor to adhere to delivery times, unfortunately Urbane furniture cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery beyond our suppliers' control.
Premier Delivery applies to the majority of Urbane furniture's sales, your items will be delivered by one of our larger couriers on a day to be decided between you and the courier; you will more often than not be given a time slot on the morning of your delivery day. This service is completed by a two man crew who will deliver your items to your room of choice subject to access. Premier Delivery service costs £48 for all orders. Please note delivery may not be possible in more remote areas of mainland UK. Premier Delivery can usually be made within an average 10 days once your full order is on stock, although it can take anything between 1-28 days.
Items deliverable by one man come under our Budget Delivery service and costs £27. This service is completed by an unaccompanied driver who will deliver your items to your front door on a ground level location only. We only deliver to the first floor of any house/apartment, except when arranged separately at time of order which may incur an additional charge. Please note delivery may not be possible in more remote areas of mainland UK. Budget Delivery usually takes on average 5 days once your full order is on stock although it can take anything between 1-28 days.
White Glove unpacking and assembly service is carried out by our trained experts, once goods have been unwrapped and assembled please ensure that you have thoroughly checked them over as damages, faults and wrongly delivered goods cannot be returned or refunded.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly by contacting
us on 0131 629 7661. So we have all relevant information please follow your call
up with written confirmation by post or email at info@urbanefurniture.com.
On receipt
of your product into our distribution centre, we will contact you to arrange delivery.
You will be offered an initial delivery slot but if this is not acceptable we will
offer a maximum of two alternatives. Target delivery dates will be arranged within
our normal delivery areas on designated days, which we will notify to you. Your chosen
delivery date is an all day delivery; usually your driver will contact you on the
morning of delivery to advise an approximate arrival time. Please bear in mind this
may be subject to change due to circumstances outside the drivers control such as
extreme weather conditions or excessive traffic. However, it is essential that someone
is available to receive delivery as if you miss delivery you will be charged for
the costs incurred. This is typically around £90 but varies depending on location
and goods to be redelivered. Unless pre arranged with your sales advisor the premier
delivery couriers will leave all boxes fully wrapped in the room of your choice,
deliveries are coordinated with this in mind and our drivers do not have the time
to unwrap goods to be inspected.
4. Storage
Unfortunately we do not have the facility to store your product for any
length of time therefore, if you are unable take the product within two weeks of
us after offering 3 alternative delivery dates of its availability, we will charge
storage charges of £5 per day for a maximum of four weeks, after which we will deem
the order to be cancelled. Where the product is a standard stocked line, the stock
will be returned to free stock, which means that it will be made available to other
customers. In this case we cannot guarantee immediate product availability when you
are ready to take the order.
To keep your items in the best possible condition they are carefully packaged to avoid damage during transit. When you receive your goods please, please, please remember to keep the packaging until you're 100% satisfied with your order. In the unlikely event that you need to return the item we can only accept it in its original packaging. This is really important, as each piece of furniture needs the same amount of protection returning to our warehouse as it does on its way to our customers.
5. Delivery Company Disclaimer
Whilst every care will be taken by the delivery drivers, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur to your property or possessions whilst the delivery is in progress. Please therefore take care to cover any carpets or furniture and remove pictures and valuables from the delivery area. All delivery dates quoted at the time of your order are estimates. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that we honour estimated delivery dates, it is possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to be changed.
