The Urbane Furniture home delivery service is designed to offer you convenience and value. We offer two types of delivery service to best meet the needs of our customers and aim to deliver within 10 days of receiving your goods in stock at our distribution centres.
In order to give you the best value for money your order will be sent out via the most suitable carrier (arranged by your sales advisor when processing your order), we also offer a Home Assembly Service for local deliveries of our flat pack furniture collections.
To find out exactly how much your delivery will cost please contact our customer service team on 0131 629 7661. Unfortunately we are unable to obtain free petrol or diesel, get free road tax or insurance or even find a courier who will work for free. Unlike other companies we do not add delivery costs into our prices and plus we give you the choice to collect for Free.
Therefore we cannot usually offer a FREE DELIVERY SERVICE on orders. However occasionally we offer free delivery on our package deals and flat pack furniture items. the savings you make from buying our package deals more than offsets these charges. Generally, where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once everything is available.

This is a cost effective delivery method where our courier will deliver your goods to the inside of your front door. We offer this for our flat pack ranges, but sometimes we can offer this for smaller items as there is often no need for a two man team. Should you reside in flats or a tenement block please be aware that you will need to arrange for someone to take them up the stairs, or if your furniture is to go upstairs in your home. However if the driver has time they will more than probably help you with this but please bear this in mind when ordering and choosing this method. Our aim here is to keep the charges down to a minimum for you so that you can receive your furniture at the best possible price and also the quickest possible time.

In Edinburgh we have a few local professional furniture couriers we use which we find works well for our customers giving the maximum choice on delivery day. ‘Local’ Delivery is classed as anywhere within the Edinburgh area, this is slightly negotiable depending on your exact location. Our experienced couriers are extremely polite and careful so you can be rest assured your goods will arrive in good order into the room you want them to go in.

The price above is an AVERAGE, to get an exact price for your delivery out with the City of Edinburgh bypass you are often best to call us as this depends on a number of factors such as distance, goods ordered and amount ordered. Urbane furniture delivers to the south of England e.g. London and the North of Scotland each and every month so to keep delivery costs to a minimum we use a few more tried and trusted furniture couriers which enables us to deliver our furniture safe, fast and above all at a minimum cost.

Please be advised that whilst every effort and care will be taken by the delivery drivers, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur to your property or possessions whilst the delivery is in progress. Please therefore take care to cover any carpets or furniture and remove pictures and valuables from the delivery access area. Please see our T+C for more information.
All Our Delivered furniture Item’s come in extensive packaging to avoid damages in transit. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to dispose of this packaging and we do encourage you to recycle where possible at your local recycling depot.
